In 1979, Tom Patterson formed Patterson Realty with the vision of assembling a group of higher caliber brokers and agents with complementary skills who could collectively provide expertise and services which individual practitioners could not match. Paula Patterson joined Tom as the firm’s managing broker as Patterson Realty evolved into a distinguished group of experienced, highly productive sales professionals with a strong moral obligation to the highest ideals, ethics and standards of care. In 2007, Wes Burk, a successful broker from The Real Estate Group, and former president of the San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors, joined Patterson Realty to assume the reigns as managing partner. Wes has picked up the gauntlet, and is building new, innovative processes that further separate Patterson from the field.
In 2011, Patterson Realty teamed up with SLOCountyHomes.com and The Keith Byrd Team, which enabled the company to bring unsurpassed local market tools to the table for the agents and brokers to provide to their clients. This partnership lead to the expansion of the company into six offices throughout San Luis Obispo county and northern Santa Barbara county.
